The Citymakers team was tasked to develop a concept for the development of the territory of the Omsk 300th Anniversary Park. But today, for the development of the urban environment, the opinion of every resident, expert, representative of local business and stakeholder is needed. It is important to give the opportunity to participate in the project to any person in any way convenient for him.
That is why the project provided various opportunities for people: residents could offer their ideas and suggestions through the website, e-mail, social networks, through interviews and polls in the park, as well as through public discussions.
So, in a month and a half of active work, a large number of people were involved in the project: the coverage of news and publications on the topic amounted to more than 300,000 people, more than 500 hours of desk research were conducted, about 300 people who personally left their wishes at the stand in the park, more than 200 proposals sent through the site, more than 300 responses to various online surveys, more than 50 proposals sent by e-mail, about 80 participants in offline meetings (excursions, walks, project sessions), about 30 experts who took part in in-depth interviews.
After processing all the data, in October 2022 it is planned to present and discuss the "public" terms of reference with residents and experts, in November - the presentation of the preliminary concept, at the beginning of 2023 - the presentation of the final concept.
