RE:CREATION" is an architectural competition aimed at creating a modern resort in Primorye that will lead the recreation and tourism industry for the next 20-30 years. The combination of bold ideas and unconventional solutions proposed by the competition participants will help create a contemporary, year-round vacation destination, standing out in the tourism market through its innovative approach and high-quality offerings.

The participants faced an ambitious task: to propose an overall vision and specific architectural solutions that would form the foundation of the country’s first resort on the Pacific coast. This resort should not only attract tourists from around the world in the near future but also remain relevant in the long term. Each participant was required to provide a visionary perspective on the future of the resort, considering the latest developments in architecture and construction technology, the unique natural environment of Primorye, and its potential in both Russian and international markets.

CM International acted as the operator of the competition. We developed the "RE:CREATION" online platform, assembled a large jury panel, and gathered submissions from across the globe. In total, we received 237 ideas across various categories. Participants included students from creative universities, Russian architectural firms, architects, designers, creative collectives, as well as international architectural and design companies. 107 participants made it to the final, and 15 ideas for the new year-round resort were selected as winners by the jury, which included international experts in architecture, tourism, and territorial management.
