Open City is an annual thematic conference. It aims to include the student community and architectural institutes in the contemporary professional discourse. The conference creates a space for the exchange of opinions and experience, giving students the opportunity to broaden their knowledge, get to know the best Russian practitioners and even find work. Invited by the chief architect of Moscow, Citymakers has participated in Open City in various roles for more than four years. We developed the conference programme and created the design of the event, and every year we publish research on the conference theme: about cultural heritage, the future of the profession and other relevant issues in contemporary architecture.
